The story of ElevationPlus
Mark Ailsworth, a 20 year veteran of the ad industry in Chicago, leads ElevationPlus as CEO. Here he articulates how and why ElevationPlus was born:
When I was president of the Chicago Interactive Marketing Association (CIMA), I had a fondness for repeating an old Irish proverb: "A rising tide lifts all boats."
I frequently followed that age-old wisdom with "...and it's incumbent upon all of us to keep the tide high."
I still believe that. I built ElevationPlus to do my part in "keeping the tide high" by helping agency and marketing decision-makers make sense of the boundaryless landscape of so-called "better mousetraps." Many of them are the snake-oil vendors of our time, ready to simply take your money and run.
However... If you know what you're doing, and have the time to dig deep into the media kits and the white papers, you can find that right solution that can make all the difference in the world.
The problem is that it's precisely because you're a decision-maker that you have no time to investigate and learn about these good-for-your-business technologies.
That's where we come in.
ElevationPlus sifts through and rarifies the sales-speak, the puff pieces and press releases to find those companies that provide truly distinct value propositions. We find the companies that have cracked a code on a particularly vexing industry need, or have just plain come up with an amazing idea.
ElevationPlus only works with smart people ... on the buy side and the sell side.
As you know it's smart people that built the web, and (just being honest here) it'll be smart people who keep the "tide high" for everyone seeking to make their way in these waters.
